It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Joerg Peter Sr. Pueschel, Peter passed peacefully away with Ann, Peter Jr., and Patti by his side Thursday July 18, 2013 at Kingston General Hospital. Peter is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Ann, and son and former business partner Peter Jr. his wife Patti and their four children Justin, Jessica, Zander and Brody, sister Heidi Marie (Dieter), niece Verena from Berlin Germany, sister in law Joanne (Donnie), nephew Daniel and niece Brittany from Brockville, sister in law Margaret from Wakefield QC. Peter was born in Berlin Germany June 19, 1941, son of Gerda and Lothar Pueschel, became a Master Chef and moved to Canada. Peter worked in Toronto, and the Bahamas before settling down in Brockville, where he enjoyed many years of cooking for his favourite city residents and travelers. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Opa and Hero to everyone he met. He will be truly missed. Love always his family. There will be a private family service held at the Oakland Cemetery. A memorial plaque and tree will be planted in his honour, a memorial for all to enjoy. Our deepest gratitude goes to all the dedicated doctors and nurses of the KGH Cardiac Care Unit, to the officers at the Canadian border and the Ambulance Paramedics, who all went above and beyond their call of duty to help Peter and his family, we will be forever grateful. In memory of Peter, donations to the Kingston Hospitals Foundation- KGH Cardiac Care Unit would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
