ROSS, Alyce Elizabeth Died, peacefully, at St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville on Monday July 22, 2013, Alyce (Fortier) Ross age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Lyall Ross and the late Harry Jenkinson. Beloved mother of Mark Ross (Angie), David Jenkinson (the late Gail), John Ross (Marlene), Heather Nelson (Ruben) and Shirley Campbell (Kevin). Cherished grandmother of Brittany Hutt, Jeremy Ross, Laurie Ann Hull, Jordan Ross, Michael and Miriam Nelson, Megan and Conal Campbell; and great grandmother of Matthew Jenkinson, Ethan and Olivia Hutt, and Elona Campbell. Dear sister of Kenneth Fortier and the late Catherine Ruston, Marie Fortier and Iva Siesling. Alyce was well known for her fashion, her collection of hats (and very proud to wear them), and for her business “Ross’s Ladies Wear” in downtown Brockville. By request there will be no visitation. A Graveside Funeral Service will take place at Oakland Cemetery on Friday July 26th, 2013 at 11:00 am. In memory of Alyce donations to Canadian Mental Health Association, Leeds Grenville would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
