Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Monday November 25, 2013, Thelma Christena Smith of Brockville age 81 years. Beloved wife of Bernard (Bud) Smith, dear mother of Sue Brugma (Henry) of Brockville and loving nana of Chelsea and Liam Brugma. Thelma is survived by her siblings Charlie Smith (Mariam) of Toledo, Elmer Smith of Portland, Howard Smith (Sandra) of Elgin, and Betty Conklin (Frank) of Prescott. Also survived by her sisters-in-law Bev Smith, June Smith and her brother-in-law Elmer Towe as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Henry Darling and Ida May (Loshaw) Smith, brothers Carman and James Smith, and a sister Marjorie Berry. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday November 28, 2013 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
