Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Thursday November 28th, 2013. Donald Elton Coon of Lyn aged 83 years. Second son of Beverly and Wilford Coon of Lyn. Born in Lyn December 29, 1929. Predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Eldon, Melville and Gerald; sisters-in-law Serena. Survived by beloved companion Sylvia M. Cruji. Father of Randy (Vanessa), John (Sarah) and Peggy (Dan). Grandfather of Ryan (Katie). Also survived by sisters-in-law Ruth Coon and Margaret Coon as well as several nieces and nephews. At the request of Don, cremation will take place with interment at a later date. A celebration of life will be held at the Lyn Museum on Saturday December 7, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. In memoriams to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
