Peacefully with her family by her side, on Friday January 2, 2004. With deepest regret she leaves her beloved husband and best friend Gary, and with profound heartache her precious children Kris (Robin)of Toronto and Natalie of Ottawa. Also survived by her dear and blessed brothers and their families Tom (Joan) Ellacott of Brockville, Bob (Patti) of Maitland, dear brother in law Donald Davis of Brockville as well as two half brothers Ken (Nancy) and Fred (Erika) of Ottawa. Barbara is also survived by her loving stepmother Annette Ellacott of Ottawa. Barbara is survived by and was a special and caring aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Gladys (Ewart) Ellacott and Gerald Ellacott. She cherished the immeasurable love and support of family and friends who have surrounded her and provided her with the means to travel her spiritual journey to God. A memorial service for Barbara will be held in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Brockville on Saturday January 10, 2004 at 1 p.m. In memoriams to the Hospice of Providence Palliative Care or St. Peter's Anglican Church, Brockville would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
