Entered into rest with family by her side, at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site on Wednesday October 23, 2013. Phoebe Marie (Bannister) Connell of Brockville age 54 years. Beloved wife of Robert Connell, dear mother of Christina Renkema (Kevin) and loving grandmother of Tyler and Erica. Phoebe is survived by her sibling’s Phyllis Ditchburn (Bryan), Shirley Bannister, Doris Madden (Nelson), June Barkley (Don), Dorothy Hitsman (Tim), Howard Bannister (Noreen), Theresa Woods (Jeff) and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Percy and Thelma (Sayeau) Bannister, a sister Lillian Gardiner and brothers Robert and Walter Bannister. A Memorial Service will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Tuesday October 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Universalist Cemetery, Bloomfield. In memory of Phoebe, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
