Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on March 6, 2004. Beloved wife of Hugh Alec Johnston. Dear mother of David of the Netherlands, Hugh (Susan) of Kingston and Laura of Brockville. Sadly missed by grandchildren Marc, Dennis, Lucas, Samantha, and Kathryn. Survived by a brother James Whitty (Dorothy), sisters Noreen Catlin (Frank), Theresa Whitty all of Kingston, Barbara Kilgour (Doug) of Mallorytown and Clare Johnson (Harold) of Aurora. Also survived by her sister in law Barbara den Boer (Leo) and Elsen of British Columbia and a brother in law David Geary of Niagara Falls, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents James and Hilda (Cliffe) Whitty and sisters Mary Stowinski and her husband Adam, Hilda Geary, Camilla Stanford and by a brother Charles Whitty. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday March 10, 2004 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In memoriams to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
