Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, on Tuesday February 24, 2004. John Joseph Paul Reid of Lansdowne age 85 years. Beloved husband of the former Betty (Boyd) Stymest and the late Edna Summers. Dear father of Cathy Forrester and her husband Bruce of Mallorytown and Robert Reid (Marlene) of Riverview, New Brunswick. Grandfather of Victoria Cartwright and Elizabeth Forrester. Brother of Cecilia Lefave, Bernard Reid and Noreen Donaghue all of Brockville. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Step father of Jim Boyd and his wife Elizabeth of Lansdowne, Nora McLeary and her husband Douglas of North Gower and Patrick Boyd and his wife Christina of Medicine Hat, Alberta Also survived by several step grandchildren. Predeceased by a son Christopher Reid , his parents Thomas Joseph Rose Ann (Murray) Reid, and a brother Murray Reid. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, Lansdowne on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated in St. Patrick's Church, Lansdowne on Friday February 27, 2004 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Brendan's Cemetery in the Spring.
