Peacefully with his family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Saturday October 20th, 2007. Harold Charles Eligh of Brockville (formerly of Sherwood Springs) aged 94 years. Beloved husband of the former Idelle (Tye) Cochrane and the late Marian Oagley. Harold is survived by several cousins in the area and step-children Donna Maryniak (Jake) of Calgary, Garry Tye (Carolyn), Robert Tye (Rosemary) all of Brockville and Carolyn Anderson of Smiths Falls and 8 step-grandchildren and 9 step-great-grandchildren as well as a sister-in-law Marjorie St. Mary (gibson) of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Also survived by dear friends Donald and Linda Slack of Mallorytown. Predeceased by his parents Elton Eligh and his wife Florence Gainford Eligh. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Mallorytown United Church on Wednesday October 24, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Yonge Mills Cemetery. In memroiams to Yonge Mills Cemetery or the Mallorytown United Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Lyn I.O.O.F. No. 284 will hold a Memorial Service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. All sister Lodges are invited.
