To the Dunster Family and all extended family and friends: Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Phyllis was a wonderful lady and the best Sunday School teacher a teenage boy could ever have. Phyllis made my Christianity and my relationship with God and his son Jesus Christ real and deeply personal to me. Phyllis was strong in her faith and she even encouraged Sunday School pupils to ask tough questions about certain aspects of our faith. She championed deeply Christian concepts such as love, forgiveness, charity, humility and acceptance of others. I particularly remember one lesson she taught about Christ at Gethsamane that has always stood by me, when our Lord and Saviour could have run away and delayed things - but he chose to stay and face what was coming. Phyllis described it as a deeply human moment for Christ that demonstrated his humanity and divinity - in facing death - all at the same time. Her lessons have lived me ever since in my legal career and I have tried to embody them whether in the law office or the court/tribunal room. I am so deeply grateful that I got to know and respect Phyllis and learn from her teachings. Her memory will echo through the ages in everyone she has touched and impacted. I intend to bring my two little girls up in the faith and will share her lessons with them as they grow. Once again, my deepest sympathies for your loss. Michael, Angela, Theresa and Helen Brown, Orleans, Ontario

My deepest sympathies to the entire Dunster family. Your Mother was a lovely lady, full of life. Always positive, loving and very caring. Some of my greatest memories of my childhood was spent at the Dunster farm and at youth group. She shared her love of God in everything she did. She cared deeply for everyone around her. Her great laugh and huge hugs will be remembered and cherished by all. Hugs and prayers to the entire family.

Condolences to Al, Claudette and the Dunster family. Over the years I sent Phyllis many Christmas cards , it never failed she would call to give me trouble and remind me she didn't send cards. Christmas 2021 was not different, we received the call but she added the she wished she could see us to give us one of her bear hugs. We all know what they are like, remember the bear hugs. <3

Our sincerest sympathies to the whole Dunster family in the loss of a very special woman. Aunt Phyllis was one of a kind. She had such a big heart. A very giving, thoughtful person with so much talent for all of her crafts, not to mention a great sense of humor. We truly wish we could be there to give each and everyone of you a hug but unfortunately due to Covid19 and this easily spreading Omicron we cannot do that. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time.
With Love and Prayers,
Fay and Heather

To all of Phyllis’s Family and loved ones my Heartfelt Condolences...it has been a Privilege to have shared this earthly journey with Phyllis. I loved her Integrity, her wholesomeness and her ability to instil in others her belief that “Her God was an Awesome God.“ I am so thankful that my children had Phyllis as their Sunday School Teacher. The lessons they learned are ingrained in their beings and as a Mom that is a Blessing I am ever grateful for.
Phyllis you gave us all so much of yourself...your stick to it ness, your poems, your great sense of humour, your many creative talents, but, most of all and maybe the most important...you saw the Sparrows...the small things in life ...and offered understanding, acceptance and encouragement to all including the hurt and wounded. You so simply, uncomplainingly lifted so many others up.
I ask “ Peace Beyond Our Understanding” for all your Loved ones.
