Peacefully at her residence, Brockville on Sunday November 2, 2008. Elva Beryl (nee Wortman) MacDonald of Brockvile age 78 years. Beloved wife of the late John R. (Jack) MacDonald. Dear mother of Donna Marshall (Nicholas), Terry Russell (Thea) and Wendy Heafy (Michael). Loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Sister of Vernon Wortman (Carmen), Malcolm Wortman (Joyce) and Cecil Wortman (Elaine) also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ross and Ardella (Ward) Wortman, a granddaughter Elizabeth (Marshall) Edgley and a brother Donald Wortman. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday November 6, 2008 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. when Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Mallorytown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers in memoriams to Breast Cancer or Mallorytown Royal Canadian Legion Branch 484 would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Mallorytown Royal Canadian Legion Branch 484 will hold a memorial service in the Funeral Home Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.
