Entered into rest at the Sherwood Park Manor on Thursday June 30, 2011, Jessie Louella (Jock) Amell aged 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Morton Amell Sr., dear mother of Mort Amell (Louise), Bonnie Kearney (Desmond) all of Brockville and foster mother of Shirley Lyons of Brockville. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Jessie is survived by a sister Kathleen Stotesbury of Victoria, BC. Jessie is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents David and Hetta (Flynn) Jock, two sons Neil and Wayne Amell, brothers Russell and David Jock and a sister Hilda Harris. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Saturday July 2, 2011 from 11 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
