Beloved husband of the former Jean Ellen Chuter. Cherished father of Mary Jane McKiel (David) , Robert (Wendy) , David (Marianne) and Jennifer Wallace (Andrew) Predeceased by a son Richard (Eleanor). Loved by grandchildren Maggie, Andrew and Sarah McKiel, Jessica and Reg Thompson, Becky, Erika and Carson Thompson, James and Emily Thompson and Colton and Olivia Wallace and nine great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by sisters Mary Pringle and Donna Treverton.Predeceased by parents William Thompson and Jane Carson, step-mother Dorothy Hawley and brother Gordon Thompson, sisters-in-law Winnie (Morrow) McNish and Betty Voyksner and brother-in-law Bob Chuter. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Sunday from 2 - 4 & 7-9p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday November 28, 2011 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
