Entered into rest peacefully with family by her side at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday March 24, 2013, Ruth (Clarke) Grier of Lansdowne age 74 years, beloved wife of the late Harold Grier. Loving mother of Jamie Grier (Tracy) and cherished nanny of Andrea and Joshua. Ruth is survived by a sister Marion German (Murray), brother-in-law Allan Hayes, a sister-in-law Elvira Clarke and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister Betty Hayes, her brother Jack Clarke and his wife Elva and a nephew Geoffrey Clarke. A Memorial Service for Ruth will be held at the Lansdowne United Church on Saturday March 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. In memory of Ruth, donations to the Lansdowne United Church, the Arthritis Society or the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
