Entered into rest at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Wednesday January 7, 2004. The former Vera Leona Stephens of Brockville age 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Ward B. Armstrong. Dear mother of Robert S. Armstrong and his wife Diane. Grandmother of Stephen R. Armstrong and Meredith D. Armstrong. all of Brockville. Also survived by a great granddaughter Vanessa Roode, sister in laws Inez Bunce and her husband Donald of Brockville and Florence Stephens of Cardinal, a nephew Earl Root and his wife Wendy of Cornwall. Predeceased by her parents Dr. George J. Stephens and his wife Bertha J. King Stephens and a brother Grenville Stephens. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Armstrong will be held in the Chapel on Friday January 9, 2004 at 1p.m. Interment Oakland Cemetery. In memoriams to the Mary Jane Hawkins Foundation at St. Lawrence Lodge or the Alzheimer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
